I just read the free chapter on her website. Oh my fucking god. It's terrible.

Someone on the review page said they loved it because of her mature use of semi-colons. WTF.

In all fairness though, I am quite impressed that she went ahead and did it. I was under the impression it was all 13-year-old-talk.
Whether it's terrible or not, kudos for trying, at least.

I do agree with Sean, it's great that she went ahead and achieved something fairly unusual for her age, so well done Natalie.

Going to stick with the 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all' after reading a section of it. Definitely for much younger readers...

Mm..and it's possible she goes to St Paul's College, as she lives in Burgess Hill, so her friends have commented, but that's nice, you have to support your friends and clients, i suppose

It's quite sweet.

I'm not entirely sure this thing was edited, you know. There's so many pretty obvious/simple spelling mistakes jumping off the page at you. Stuff like "...sentencing to death or hard labour traitors to it" also sticks in my mind.

I'm stuck between finding it morally cruel to laugh at the (not incompetent) work of a young girl, and tearing into it caustically as the quality-bankrupt ego project of a homophobe with too much money.

Don't forget parents Encouragement is good, but I hope she hasn't invested a ridiculous amount into this..:S If so, they really should have stopped her..

That hand grenade she 'acciendentally' throws into her captive classmates, graphically killing most of them. She then surveys the rest, leaves those she suspects to be fatally wounded behind, and brings those who might be able to be saved to a hospital, where it is noted that she passes a nurse one of their kidneys she'd been carrying. I shit you not

That's actually adorable. I want to read the whole thing!
